JTA Advocates for 20% Allocation of Texas Mobility Fund to Public Transit and Mobility Options

In 2001, Texas voters approved the creation of the Texas Mobility Fund to provide an additional, less constrained mechanism for financing transportation projects. Now, it's up to the Texas Legislature to actually put money in the Fund. JTA is advocating that a minimum of 20% of the funds be "earmarked" for public transportation and mobility options.(MS Word)
